Zinc finger protein 576 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ZNF576 gene. The ZNF576 gene (also known as MGC2508), located on 19q13.31, is conserved in the Rhesus monkey, dog, and cow. An important paralog of this gene is PLAGL1. ZNF576 belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. ZNF576 gene ontology annotations related to this gene include nucleic acid-binding.
